“Who is Raj Thackeray? I know Bala Saheb, father-like figure to us and Uddhav Thackeray only”, said Jaya Bachchan, who is the wife of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajya Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party. She said it in a press conference in Mumbai in the reaction of Raj Thackeray’s comment against Big B that he didn’t do anything for Mumbai when Mumbai has given him such name, fame, and money.
The major question is – Who is Raj Thackeray? Is he like Kalyan Singh without Bhartiya Janta Party, Raj Babbar without Samajwadi Party, Uma Bharti without BJP, Natwar Singh without Congress? I think yes, Raj Thackeray is now Raj Thackeray without Shiv Sena. And he is desperately trying to be in media all the time like his ‘Sena’ days. He has become infamous for doing ’shortcuts’ to get cheap popularity and this time he has opted the God Sun (Chath Puja), Amitabh Bachchan and his favorite ‘Biharis’ to polish his politics.
Let me tell you who Raj Thackeray is in detail. Raj Thackeray is a young Indian politician of Maharashtra and best known as nephew of Bala saheb Thackeray till date. He started his political career with Shiv Sena in Maharashtra and it was possible because he has the title ‘Thackeray’. He started dreaming to become the chief minister of Maharashatra in the initial phase of his political career. He even had revealed his wish in 2004 but didn’t contest the assembly elections.
He had the status of number three in party but had a dream to become number one by overtaking Uddhav Thackeray, son of Bala Saheb. Later, he was sidelined and forced to give way to Uddhav to become Shiv Sena’s executive President in 2005. Raj, highly ambitious youth, decided to leave Shiv Sena and float a new party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to fulfill his dream. He believes he has wide support in Maharashtra, particularly in Mumbai. However, he failed completely in establishing himself in the last assembly election and the civic body polls in the state. On the other hand, Uddhav managed everything correctly in Shiv Sena, the party without Narayan Rane, Chagan Bhujbal and now Raj Thackeray.
Raj has another quality in him; he admires Nazi dictator Hitler for his organizational skills and strong will power. On his 37th birthday in 2005, he said:
Leave aside his negative aspects like the barbaric annihilation of millions of Jews. There are several other things about Hitler, which any leader would envy. Hitler had everything. The one thing he did not have was the ambition to conquer the world. You can draw whatever conclusions you want from my remarks.
People are talking about Raj as a desperate youth leader who is ready to do everything to get a status of full fledged political leader in the state. He wants to remain in media discussion so he opts to criticize Chath Puja (famous festival of Bihar and UP) and Amitabh Bachchan. He knows it better that by targeting ‘Big’ things; he would automatically arrive in media limelight.
He sends goon to carry attack in media offices, to beat people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh on streets, to disrupt press conference of other political parties, to hurl bottles in superstar’s houses, to beat the jobless examinees, he says Juhu molestation case happened on the New Year Day because people of Bihar and UP are living in Mumbai, He says no Maharashtrians can do such acts, he threatens Biharis to slap on their cheek every time, he admires Hitler and believes in behaving like Nazi dictator, he can’t win even civic polls but aiming to become the chief minister of Maharashtra or get the status of Bala Saheb in the state, he wants to become Hindu leader but abuses Chath Puja, the festival of Sun; he wants to reconstruct (Navnirman) Maharashtra but believes highly in regionalism at threatening extent. He aims to become a mass leader and becoming the leader of ‘goons’.
Migrants laborers are being target of separatists and militants in Border States in northeastern states, and in Maharashtra now, Thackeray is targeting them. Does Maharashtra really need this ‘Thackeray’ who believes in Goonda ‘Raj’?

Comments
Raj Thackeray is trying to achieve everything within days what his uncle Bala Saheb achieved in years. There is no shortcuts in politics and Raj should understand it.
Well said, Raj has become a goon who believes in violence and sends goons to control everything. Isn’t he behaving like kings who sent army to turning things in their favour. If Raj continues to do so he will meet his end of his political career soon.
This is the characteristic of Indian democracy, if one leader starts talking anti-democratic things, so many people stand up against him without thinking the consequences. Curtailing such leaders builds another pillar democracy needs for its survival. We people lack it in our country.
Raj Thackeray had disturbed the whole city and damaged the thread of harmony among people living in Mumbai. He deserves tight slaps on both of his cheeks for his anti-nation activities. It was strange to see him attending Mumbai’s top cop’s daughter wedding even a non-bailable warrant was issued against him by Mumbai Police. Isn’t this a joke of law of the land?
Is he RAJ TREACHERY?
We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more...
1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don’t study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi
3. Prime-minister, president and all other leaders should only be from Delhi
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING
Employment from Locals
7. Lord Shiv, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas)
8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only
9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
10. Lets support Kashmiri Militants because they are right to killing and injuring innocent people for benifit of there state and community......
11. Let’s throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world .
12. Let’s stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside
15. We should STOP using local trains... Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari
16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathi’s
JAI MAHARASHTRA!
Friend, I have been living in Chakan near Pune from quite sometime working in Volkswagen. (We call it Folkswagen though)
I was very much interested in the issue regarding all this, and why that BMW went to Tamil Nadu despite the good infrastructure and excellent support extended by state Govt. as well as from people here. Most of my colleagues are Marathi and I got a reply to the above chain mail in my inbox from him. This one single email is enough to understand the issue I suppose.
I am not an Indian national by the way, I am from Britain. So, please excuse me from your racist rants (if any) :-)
. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don’t study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school.
Reply - We should teach our kids that if someone comes first in class, don’t bother, we should beat him up hard and ensure no one comes first. This way, we ensure no one is educated. Basically, why should we educate ourselves? Ideas of education sprung from the mind of Mahatma Phule, again a Marathi Manoos. Let them build the Oxford of the East. Why should we worry about the constitution of India? It was written by a Marathi Manoos by the name of Ambedkar. After all, ‘Jugaad’ is our birthright. //
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi.
Reply - Henceforth, the wealth of Maharashtra should only be restricted to Maharashtrians. Maharashtra is the highest tax payer of all states in India. Why should they give their money to Delhi? To give it to UP and Bihar under the pretext of ‘underdeveloped states’?
3. Prime Minister, President and all other leaders should only be from Delhi.
Reply - Chief Minister of Maharashtra, MPs from Maharashtra should only be from Maharashtra. This already happens. CEOs, COOs, Bollywood actors should only be from Maharashtra in the companies set up in Maharashtra.
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
No movie should be made in India at all. We should ban making movies completely. The first movie was made by N. G. Chitre and Dadasaheb Torne named ‘Pundalik’ directed by Dadasaheb Phalke and V. Shantaram. Oh, all four Marathi Manoos, we should never ever ever ever ever let a movie be produced.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men
And this is why we should have fewer trains plying from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Total number of trains from Mumbai to UP – Bihar is greater than the number of trains from Mumbai to inside Maharashtra.
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals.
All non – Maharashtrian Indians should be sent back from abroad or other states as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals. //
7. Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas)
Chhath Puja is supposed to be performed in river Ganga. It should be performed in river Ganga only, not in Arabian Sea. Ganesh festival should not be celebrated as it was started by Lokmanya Tilak, a Marathi Manoos again.
8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only.
Visits to Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora Caves should be restricted to people from Maharashtra only.
9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
Maharashtra is the number one taxpayer in India. Mumbai alone constitutes 30% of the tax of the country. The tax money should be paid back proportionately. Why should that go to some routine states under the garb of ‘underdeveloped states’?
10. Let’s support Kashmiri Militants because they are right to killing and injuring innocent people for benefit of their state and community…
Let us support naxalites for the same. Let us support the Assamese killing Biharis. Let us support Punjabis killing Biharis blowing bomb in Bhojpuri theatres. (These attacks have happened prior to MNS attacks). Let us not support law and order in Mumbai and let the bhaiyya goons do what they want.
11. Let’s throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world.
Why just Maharashtra? Let’s throw MNCs out of India. Don’t MNCs stand for multi-national corporations? UP and Bihar have next to negligible MNCs and they are true Indians for this. We should follow their example. Karnataka, Andhra, Tamilnadu are all traitor states for this as they don’t even know proper Hindi and also house MNCs.
12. Let’s stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak
Marathi.
Why should Indians use cellphones of a Finnish company (Nokia) or American company (Motorola) or a south Korean company (Samsung), Emails, movies (oh, they will banned from now) and dramas of USA and other countries? Bill Gates should speak Hindi and Nokia, Google should have a Hindi name first before being used in India. If they do not give Hindi names, they are anti – nationals.
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states.
We should die hungry or do not buy food at all but should not go for job to other states. Why should we enrich their tax collection?
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside.
We should not allow any industry to setup in India because all machinery comes from outside.
15. We should STOP using local trains… Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and the railway minister is a Bihari
We should stop using trains completely. Trains were invented by the Britishers. Oh, it were the Britishers who laid railway tracks in India. We should stop using trains completely. We should use only bullock carts and do more advanced ’chara ghotalas’ like our patriotic leaders. It is anti – national to use trains just as non – hindi speaking people working in MNC are anti - national.
16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathis
Ensure that all our children born, grow, live and die without ever stopping out of India, then they will become true Indians, not like these non – Hindi speaking people working in MNCs.
And oh yeh, those in BMW need to understand the local language Tamil there! My colleagues are busy getting a hands on knowledge of the language, at least till learning the level 1. Nothing like that exists here, everyone around is OK with English! Lucky I am!
When people talk about Marathi vs non marathi issue that is seamering these days, they seem to miss the main point. It is OK for people to migrate within a country but it becomes an issue when this migration is happening on large scale. When such a large number of people migrate from north to Maharashtra it creates problems for the local people and their culture. And this issue must be addressed. Violance that SS or MNS are doing in Mumbai is absolutely wrong but that does not mean their point is not valid. They do have a very valid point. The same thing could happen in any other state.
One other point worth noting is that in Maharashtra land reforms were successful to large extent but in UP/Bihar they were not. That has created major social inequality in those states. Maharashtra is not only economically well developed but it is also socially advanced state. This is mainly due to social reformers like Agharkar, Phule, Karve, Ambedkar etc. Credit for all this certainly goes to Maharashtrians.
