Sikkim Police jawan kills five colleagues in Delhi

In a surprising incident, a Sikkim Police jawan Nari Lepcha killed five other fellow jawans in Daryaganj, Delhi on Sunday morning. Lepcha has allegedly confessed that he has killed his colleagues.

Earlier, the motive behind the killing was unrevealed but when Delhi Police started investigation, the matter took a bizarre turn, as it found that the cause behind the killing was nothing but sexual harassment.

Nari Lepcha has allegedly said that he killed his colleagues because of one of them had tried to sexually harass him. Later, Delhi Police has given clean chit to other prime suspect. J B Subba in this case. Lepcha told to the Police that Tiwari, one of the jawans who has been killed, had tried to sodomise him.

The incident happened at early morning on Sunday when all the six Sikkim Police jawans were guarding the Dena Bank branch. Delhi Police got a call of gun shots in the area at around 4:50 am.

The jawans who has been killed in the incidents were Vishal Tiwari, Karma Bhutia, Shanti Veer, Kumar and Lakshman Subba. When Police reached to the incident it found Lepcha as injured also and he blamed J B Subba for the killing.

But when police started investigating the matter Lepcha broke down and revealed the real motive behind the killing of the fellow jawan by him.

The BBC has reported that Lepcha has admitted to shoot his colleagues and killing two of them with an axe.

On the other hand, P Chamling, CM of Sikkim has announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the families of the dead jawans.
