Today one of my friends sent me two photographs those are really disturbing. The pictures are linked to the respect of national flag. Later I found the photographs here.
The first picture shows that Nirmala Devi is disrespecting the Indian national flag. The old man besides her is her husband. He is an ex-IAS officer and chief of SCI. The people around Nirmala Devi put the national flag near the feet of Nirmala Devi.
Now see the other picture, the flag, which was some distance away from her feet in the first picture, was being used to protect her feet from cold. The photographs clearly have showed that those people have no respect for the national flag.
This is not only the problem of the people present in the pictures. If we go to the city’s road anywhere after Independence Day and Republic Day celebration, we can easily find the national flags on the roads. The people of India do not mind to throw the national flag onto road. We feel shame to respect our national emblems. We should change the attitude and should feel respect for the national emblems.
Patriotism is speedily losing its importance in India. We feel proud only after winning the cricket match from Pakistan only. The people should feel and take responsibility to teach the unaware people around us to respect the national signs.
India Daily is feeling sorry to show the pictures in this article where the national flag is not getting respect. The sole reason for doing this is to make people aware that they can raise their voice anywhere if they see these kinds of activities anywhere.
I do give an advice to the person who took the pictures that he/she should take one more picture of the place. But before that, he/she should have clearly told the people present there for stop doing this. He should have told them to give due respect to the national flag. And then, the photographer should have taken one more picture of the national flag placed at some another place with great respect.
