The group has 18 members and they all called on the Senate to have a provision of an annual certification signed by India that the nuclear deal would not assist or encourage India’s nuclear weapons program.

The Senate will, most probably, take up the nuclear deal on Wednesday and the debate on the issue will spread over two days.

However, in the middle of all suspicion, ifs, and buts, the US administration is in no doubt that, the Senate will approve the deal.
