The quintessential veteran Congressmen Narayan Dutt Tiwari has put down his papers as the Chief Minister of Uttaranchal. He cited age as the reason. ND Tiwari is now 81 and has served the party for many decades now.
Talking to media, he said;
I have turned 81 and no person of my age is serving as chief minister in the country.
He said that he would however continue to do social work. We will surely miss him.
