The responsibility of establishing the law and order in the state has taken by the people themselves. The situation in Bihar shows that the Bihar police are assisting the people to control the degrading law and order.
The common people in Bihar, it seems, are practicing the concept of ‘Instant Justice’, by lynching suspected criminals.
Almost twenty-five ‘criminals’ have been lynched in the past three weeks in the state.

People are fed up with rising lawlessness and rising crimes in the state, and they have started punishing the criminals by themselves.
Many of such incidents have been reported from several districts such as west Champaran, Saran, Munger, Shekhpura, Jehanabad and Supaul districts. It all happened in the last three weeks only.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, himself, accepted1, 618 murders and 97 kidnapping cases had been reported in last six months.
