India is making a satellite for mobile TV. This was announced by the chairman of the prestigious Indian Space research Organization (ISRO) G Madhavan Nair.
He said,
Satellite design is going on. It requires a huge antenna to be deployed in space and also high power. So, it’s in the process. Unfurlable antenna is one of the major elements in that.
Nair is also the secretary in the Department of Space. According to him, the satellite will be ready for launch by 2008.
