Natwar Singh has been suspended from the primary membership of the Congress party and may be given a show cause notice asking him reasons why he should not be expelled from the party. A retired IAS officer, V Sundaram, has written about the detail of the ongoing drama playing inside the Congress.
Congress disciplinary action committee, which has three members as Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Sushilkumar Shinde and headed by A.K. Antony has taken the decision.
V Sundaram has put a point that the ‘Gharwali’ Congress leader A.K. Antony, Pranab Mukherjee and Sushilkumar Shinde as Members of the committee, has considered Natwar Singh as a rebel.
He wants to fetch the notice of the people that all the three members of this disciplinary Committee have been bigger renegades in the past.
A.K. Antony has revolted earlier against Indira Gandhi. Sushilkumar Shinde got out of the Congress with Sharad Pawar in 1978 and had joined the Progressive Democratic Front.
However, Natwar Singh has showed his loyalty to the Congress party and the Nehru family for more than 45 years and got the suspension. V Sundaram says that backstabbing is the history of the Congress. He has given the examples of Subhash Chandra Bose, Purushotamdas Tandon, Sanjeeva Reddy, Narasimha Rao etc.
Natwar Singh, despite doing all the anti-parties activities, in shameless manner declared, he will not say anything against Sonia Gandhi but not going to leave Manmohan Singh and others.
Natwar Said, further, that he is going to write the Guinness Books of World Records that among the eleven Prime Ministers since independence, Manmohan Singh is the only one Prime Minister who has never even contested a Municipality election.
Mr. Sundaram writes further that Favouratism is common phenomenon. The PM Manmohan Singh has practiced it on several occasions. He promotes an IAS officer Sanjay Krishna so many times. So, where is the difference between Manmohan singh and Natwar Singh?
