advanis parivatan yatra

The Bhartiya Janta Party has two greatest mass leaders - one is Atal Bihari Vajpayee and other is Lal Krishna Advani. Now, Vajpayee has almost taken retirement from active politics and Advani is in the driver’s seat for the next General election.

Advani better knows that all the political management and poll strategies depend on the party’s connection with voters across the country. This is why he has started preparing to show the voters of India that they have a better alternative, BJP, of ruling Congress and a better candidate for the post of Prime Minister, Advani, than Manmohan Singh.

For Advani, the politics of rath yatras is the best way to re-establish the lost connection with the voters across the country and he is planning to start another ‘yatra’ in the country before the General election. Clearly, he is intended to hit the road to prepare party workers across the country for the next Lok Sabha elections.

The poll managers are working hard to prepare the detailed plan for his yatra to ‘almost all the states’. Advani is likely to travel by plane to each state and then travel by road to address at least two rallies in every state. Those states, scheduled to go for assembly elections later this year, will be in prime focus in his tour.

‘Parivartan’ or ‘change of government’ will be the campaign theme for Advani’s ‘across the nation’ tour and he will largely emphasis on the ‘failures’ of the UPA government in its regime in Centre.

According to the report, Advani is working to forming a ‘core team’ to draft poll strategy with Arun Jaitley, M Venkaiyah Naidu and Ananth Kumar and others. Jaitely is now credited with successfully giving a new face to party through crucial poll campaigns in five states including Gujarat. The core team would mainly manage the NDA partners, old and new both, in the picture intact with the BJP.
