On Saturday, a high intensity blast occurred in the famous Lumbini Park just before the Laser show at 7:30 PM and killed 6 people on the spot. More than 12 people were injured in the blast that happened in the stadium where more then 400 people were there in stadium to watch the show.
The injured people have been taken to Usmania hospital and other nearby hospitals. The Lumbini park is located on Necklace Road and opposite of the State secretariat building, which is a high profile zone.
Another blast happened near the Gokul Chat in the crowded Koti Market in Hyderabad and killed at least 6 people and injured more than 10. However, the cause behind the second blast was not clear and some reports said that the Gokul Chat blast was actually a cylinder blast.
The PM Manmohan Singh has condemned the twin blast occurred in Hyderabad. The reports said that the timers were used to trigger the blast. Some reports were saying that the Gokul chat blast was also a bomb blast but it was unconfirmed reports.
