
Aedes Egypti mosquito are haunting people as well doctors across the country. This is the mosquito, which causes dengue and chikungunya both.
The National Vector Borne Disease Control Program has reported about 236 fresh cases of dengue from different parts of the country.
Out of 236 fresh cases, 172 fresh dengue cases are reported in Delhi and the adjoining areas. It increased the total the number of dengue cases to 4,039 until today. The total number of deaths caused by Dengue has gone to 84 until the date.

Till now, there are 13,26,000 cases of chikungunya has been registered and 4,039 cases of dengue has been detected across the country.
Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu are the chikungunya-affected states.
Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, besides Chandigarh are the dengue-affected states.
